Background

Apostolic Faith Mission (Dipakapakeng Assembly) started in the year 2006 as a branch under the leadership of Evangelist MJ Mokwena. Services were conducted in the Community Hall. First members were not more than ten in number. After a number of Crusades and open air outreach, God blessed this branch with many souls mainly young people.

Due to the increasing number of new members, the Hall became too small and could not accommodate all the members.

Presently the assembly is using a large Tent for meetings which accommodates about one thousand people. The Tent was purchased for one hundred thousand rands (R100 000.00). Present members are very committed and much have been achieved.

As a result of lack of accommodation, the leadership of this assembly decided to erect a building which will accommodate the increasing number of members. The envisaged church hall will take two thousand five hundred seats (2500).

The site for the church building has been granted by the Bakwena Local Tribal Authority and the Elias Motsoaledi Local Munispality. The church building plans have been approved.
